I Breathe Into the Sky: Poetry by Diane Maietta

Meditation is medicine for your self-mastery.  It is quieting your mind in order to hear inspiration.

Try to sit in nature as much as possible when you meditate.  Let Mother Nature fill your entire being...and breathe into the sky.  Your worries should not overcome your brilliance...clear and clean your mind before you create your dreams.

I Breathe Into the Sky

The Evening calls, the evening calls,

Saying softly, “Find your peace in me.

Of all that’s won, of all that’s lost—

Just come, and let it be”.

“Surrender, surrender into my arms,

I’ll take the world from thee.

Release the day, and all its harm

In my captivity.”

The evening calls, the Evening calls,

Whispering the Moon’s sweet dew;

The mountains sigh beneath it all

Draped in Heaven’s rendezvous.

And I breathe into the sky.
